Psych. Hala Hamdy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ain Shams University, a Professional Diploma in Applied Clinical Psychology from Cairo University, completed the preparatory Master’s program in Clinical Psychology at Ain Shams University, and I am currently a Master’s researcher in Clinical Psychology at Ain Shams University. Have received extensive clinical training and hands-on experience across multiple psychiatric and addiction treatment hospitals, including Abu Al-Azayem, Demerdash, Kasr Al-Ainy, Abu El-Rish, Abbassia, Khanka, and the National Fund for Addiction Prevention and Treatment. Trained in several evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including DBT, ACT, CBT, and Schema Therapy. Additionally, have completed courses in Positive Psychology through the University of Pennsylvania (online). My clinical interests include working with adults, particularly in the treatment of personality disorders—with a special focus on Borderline Personality Disorder—as well as complex trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and comprehensive clinical psychological assessment using standardized psychological tests for personality disorders, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and ADHD. I am a member of the Egyptian Psychotherapists Association (EPA) and the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS).
