Profile Overview

I studied Psychology at The American University in Cairo and earned my master’s degree Counseling Psychology and Psychotherapy from The American College of Greece. I see therapy as an enlightening journey of self-exploration and personal growth where we work collaboratively to overcome challenges in a safe space with no judgements.

Over the years, I worked in Egypt and Greece with adults and adolescents suffering from depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, phobias, adjustment disorders, personality disorders, postpartum depression, relationship issues, identity issues, grief and loss, addictions, psychosis, sexual abuse, sleep and eating disorders.

I use an integrative approach to suit each client’s individual needs, utilizing techniques from psychodynamic, humanistic, existential, behavioral, and narrative therapy. I also hold a diploma in CBT from the Centre of Excellence in the UK.

Therapy Model Used

Integrative approach with focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma informed work, Narrative Therapy, and Dramatherapy. Uses evidence based tools for depression, anxiety, relationship stress, personality related difficulties, addiction related concerns, insomnia, and anger management. Provides structured CBT interventions and short term solution focused techniques when clinically needed.
