I am trained in diagnosing and treating several psychological illnesses. Some of my modalities include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness based therapy, Psychodynamic approach and Trauma Focused therapy . I offer a more integrative and eclectic therapeutic approach which means that my approach is specific fo my client’s issues.
I have experience in dealing with a range of disorders like depression, anxiety, phobias, and eating disorders as well as help with anger management and body dissatisfaction. I offer a judgement free and a safe and confidential space for my clients. I also deal with Sexual dysfunction, sexual addictions as well as gender dysmorphia and LGBTQ+ clients. I have helped my clients with stress management, overcoming trauma and grief. I am also trained in psycho-oncology.
I have been able to help individuals from a variety of cultures and backgrounds and believe in harboring a good therapeutic relationship that is built on trust, equality, mutual respect and empathy. I aspire to develop a nonjudgmental and positive therapeutic relationship with all my clients.
